Today is my birthday. Hooray for me! Normally on this day I would be surrounded with a lot of people. However, since I celebrated early this year, I didnt have anything planned for my real birthday. Last week I graduated, making me an official international communications and media specialist. I celebrated by throwing a huge party in the park, with a barbeque by the lake. But, this is still Holland so despite of my naive and positive disposition, it still rained cats and dogs. We all rushed, ran and biked to the abandoned school building that I had reserved as a backup and so the partying continued. I think secretly the guys even liked it more than the park because this way they could scout through an old abandoned building and skate inside a school (which they've wanted to do since they were little rugrats)
So.. what to do what to do when my real birthday arrived. Since it was my birthday, I figured I could do anything I wanted, starting and ending with all my favorite things.Waking up late, going shopping with my mom for a delicious lunch (steak sandwich and salmon, cream cheese bagels), making truffels, ice cream, desserts and cocktails, and hanging out with my sweet boyfriend in the sun :) And as usual, it's 22.30 already and I've still got too much food left over and I didn't even get the chance to break out the chips and dip!
